College Coaches Skills Camp’s goal is to present prospective softball high school athletes the ability to present their skills, while learning from active college softball coaches in showcases directly on the diamond. Camps are geared towards high school athletes who are serious about taking the next step and becoming college softball players. Sessions focused on pitching, catching, infield, outfield and hitting are provided through our camps. Two-way athletes have the unique opportunity to choose multiple sessions, growing their all-around game by learning from college coaches.

For each athlete that attends an event, they and their families can anticipate drills, evaluation and instruction on the current aspect of college baseball. Small group settings allow direct coaching, while game-like scenarios give players the opportunity to showcase their abilities.

Camps provide metrics to help athletes compare their current skills to that of other participants. Pitchers will be evaluated on their raw arm velocity, pitch speed, and overall effectiveness. Catchers, in addition to showcasing their framing, blocking, pop time, arm velocity and ability to showcase a pitcher will be instructed on the skills and qualities needed at the next level. Position players will receive defensive training with their denoted position, while also receiving instruction on offensive metrics such as slapping, hitting for power, running speed and hitting velocity.

With the in-depth metrics and individual coaching of each player, College Coaches Skills Camp sets up student athletes with a venue to elevate their game to potentially get to the next level. College Coaches Skills Camps are open to all high school players and are held in compliance with all NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III and NAIA rules.
