Women's Soccer

High School women’s soccer prospects are provided the ability to learn from active college coaches, while showing off their skills on the pitch through College Coaches Skills Camp. While striving to reach the next step in their soccer career, athletes receive both hands-on small group instruction and large group game scenarios to showcase their abilities. Coaches provide evaluation and feedback, allowing prospects to learn and grow their game.

College coaches lead drills, give instruction and discuss strategy with athletes in their small group sessions, which occurs due to the 8:1 coach-to-athlete ratio. Athletes and Parents both have the opportunity to learn more about the recruiting process by asking questions, building relationships and learning from the coaches.

Training in all thirds of the pitch is taught giving prospects functional training in their specific position. Passing, receiving, dribbling and shooting are taught properly by coaches in the small group setting.

Collegiate goalkeeper coaches provide on-the-field technical training to prospective goalkeepers. Ball handling, diving, extension diving, distribution and footwork are discussed in goalkeeper sessions, allowing for athletes to strengthen their abilities in net.

Through the metrics given to athletes with a low player-to-coach ratio, College Coaches Skills Camp provides student athletes with a venue to elevate their game to potentially get to the next level. College Coaches Skills Camps are open to all high school players and are held in compliance with all NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III and NAIA rules.
